This Friday, Mr.Peabody came and spoke about being an accountant for Future Friday. It was very interesting about how long it took to take the test and all his years in school trying to find a career that fit him. I’m glad he found his career after 12 years of school! Anyway, Mr.Peabody inspired me to always try for the career you want, even if you have to look a lot for something that interests you because why would you want to have a job that is not fun?
Last week we, at Bremen Middle School, had a winter break. Over the break, I slept in till noon and watched TV all night. I did not go out like most people.
On Friday, Nicks mom, Ms.Goodwin, came and talked about being an author.This Friday was my favorite so far,because she explained that you should never give up on your passion, and to push yourself to work harder.Once she started to get into writing she had to put in on hold, because she got married and had kids, but after a while she started back and now has a book published!You always need to push your passion.
On Friday,Mr. Swales came to talk about his career.He is a fireman.He talked about a lot of cool things,like fire safety,fire tools,the way the air packs work,etc..It was so cool!
When I get older,I want to be in the career cluster,Education and Training,because teaching have always been my future career.But,if teaching doesn’t work out,I have a plan B and C.My plan B is Hospitality and Tourism,and my plan C is Business and Management.
